1 How we collect and use personal information
1.1 Account services
1.1.1 CapCut account services
Linglong AI uses a unified CapCut account service so you can conveniently log in and use Linglong AI. To meet legal requirements and improve convenience, we synchronize accounts and content between Linglong AI and CapCut, including shared nickname, avatar, bio, bound phone number, and other authorized information. Your CapCut account is the credential for logging into Linglong AI. Collecting a phone number is necessary for real-name verification under law; if you refuse, we may be unable to provide AI generation, publishing, and interaction features.
Note: "CapCut" means CapCut and related versions we lawfully own and operate, including CapCut, CapCut Pro, Jianxiaoying, and related clients and websites, as well as SDKs and APIs we provide to third parties under the CapCut name.
1.1.2 Account registration and login
You may register and log into a CapCut account with a third-party account, then use that CapCut account to log into Linglong AI (an "Account" or "Linglong AI Account"). If you have no CapCut account, logging into a third-party platform with a phone number and completing verification may create one for use with Linglong AI.
When you register or log into Linglong AI with a third-party account, you authorize us to obtain information from that platform (public info such as avatar and nickname, and other info you authorize) to create a bound Linglong AI Account so you can register, log in, and use related services. In some cases we need to re-verify and bind your phone number to confirm authenticity and association.
Based on cooperation with telecom carriers, when you use "one-tap bind" and consent, we use carrier capabilities to use the phone number on your device as the bound number without password or SMS code verification. If you prefer not to use one-tap bind, you may bind by other methods.
1.1.3 Public account information
You may optionally fill in a bio. Not filling it in does not affect use of your Account or services.
Your following count, follower count, uses of published inspiration templates, likes, and publicly published works will be shown on your profile page.
When we publish violation penalty notices, we may disclose the nickname and similar info of violating accounts.
1.2 AI content generation services
1.2.1 Service content
Based on AI model technology, we provide AI content generation (images, audio/video, and text). To provide services we collect text, images, audio/video, and instructions you actively select or input, and analyze them to generate content matching your instructions. After secure encryption, strict de-identification, and where re-identification of a specific individual is impossible, we may use collected data and corresponding model outputs to optimize models and continuously improve results.
When using AI generation (including importing assets or exporting results), we may request microphone, camera, album, or storage permissions depending on the feature. Refusing authorization means you cannot use those import/export features, but other Linglong AI features remain available.
For technical reasons we need to upload original assets you select or upload to our servers. Some features analyze assets with faces or voices. Please rest assured: such assets are used only for generation effects of features such as "digital humans" and "portrait photos," and not to identify specific individuals or verify identity.
1.2.2 Models and algorithms
To provide rich features and services, you may click here to view the models and algorithm services we use and their filing status, application scenarios, basic principles, purposes, and main mechanisms, so you can understand them and exercise informed choice.
1.3 Content browsing and search
While you browse Linglong AI we record usage. If you are not logged in, we use device identifiers to record clicks, browsing, downloads, shares, and feedback. If you are logged in, we record clicks, browsing, downloads, shares, follows, feedback, recreate-same-style, publishing, likes, comments, and more via your Account.
When you search, we collect and analyze search instructions (text) and search logs. To show more relevant results we may rank by relevance, timeliness, and similar factors. Some results or related queries may be shown based on your search/browse history and logs.
For efficient search, some of the above may be temporarily stored locally; you can view and delete local search history after tapping the search icon.
When playing video and similar content, we may use gravity, accelerometer, gyroscope, and similar sensors to detect device orientation.
1.4 Publishing information
When you upload or publish images, audio/video, etc., we may request album, microphone, or camera permissions depending on the feature. Refusing means you cannot use the related publishing features, but other features remain available.
Published content will show your nickname, avatar, and similar information.
To optimize products and improve content ecosystem, interaction, and experience, we may analyze publicly published inspiration templates, audio/video duration, views, interactions, and usage, and publicly display some statistics.
1.5 Interaction and following
When you follow or unfollow creators, we create/adjust follow and follower relationships.
When you interact with users (e.g., follow), we may collect interaction information to keep services stable. Browsing or sharing others’ content or visiting profiles may be recorded as interactions between users.
1.6 Personalized recommendations
To show and recommend more relevant information and services that better match your needs, Linglong AI may collect and use personal information and use algorithmic models to predict preferences. Below we explain how personalization works and how you can control it.
(1) Scope: personalized recommendations include but are not limited to inspiration templates or audio/video content.
(2) Fields collected: we may collect device info; behavior on Linglong AI (search, click, publish, use, like, follow, browse, download, share, and transaction-related records); profile info (nickname, avatar, etc.); and other information collected from Linglong AI with your authorization or provided by partners. The system analyzes this to predict preferences and provide personalized content and services.
(3) Training and intervention: we train and adjust recommendation models in real time based on browsing behavior. To meet diverse needs and avoid over-concentration of similar content, we use diversified automated processing to better provide quality content and services.
You may turn off personalized content recommendations as described in section 3.1.2. After you turn them off, we will not process your personal information for personalization and will only push general content unrelated to your preferences.
If you believe some decisions in personalized recommendations were made solely by automated decision-making and materially affect your lawful rights, contact us at ai@linglongbiz.com as in section 8.2 and ask for an explanation. You have the right to refuse decisions made solely through automated decision-making.
1.7 Other features
1.7.1 Message notifications
You acknowledge that during operations we may send one or more types of notices via contact methods you provided (e.g., phone number), such as service notices, identity/security verification, and experience surveys; we may also send commercial information about services, features, or activities by SMS or phone. If you do not wish to receive these, you may unsubscribe via SMS instructions or contact us directly.
We may push account activity, followed users/content updates, and recommendations via system notifications; you may turn off Linglong AI notifications in device settings.
1.7.2 Sharing and interaction
When you share or receive shared information or join activities, the Linglong AI client may access the clipboard locally to write or read codes, share codes, or links for jump, share, or campaign features. The client uploads clipboard content to our servers only when it locally recognizes Linglong AI jump/share/campaign instructions. Otherwise it does not upload other clipboard or album information.
Some phone systems may prompt that an app is reading the clipboard or album without distinguishing local processing from server upload, and statistics may cause false reports. If you see such prompts and have questions, contact us so we can investigate.
1.8 Operations and secure running
We aim to provide a safe, trustworthy product environment. To keep products/services stable and protect you, other users, or the public, we collect necessary information as follows:
(1) To secure software/services and operational quality/efficiency, we may collect hardware model, OS version, device identifiers (e.g., AndroidID/OAID on Android; IDFV/IDFA on iOS—identifiers differ in validity, resetability, and collection method), carrier anonymous IDs, IP address, WLAN access points (SSID/BSSID), Bluetooth, cell towers, software version, network access method/type/status, network quality, operation/use/service logs, and sensor data (e.g., accelerometer).
(2) To prevent malware and ensure operational quality/efficiency, we may collect installed app lists, software lists or running processes, overall app run/use/frequency, crashes, overall install/use, performance data, and app source.
(3) We may collect account, device, and service log information generated while using Linglong AI, and use it together with information our affiliates/partners are authorized or legally allowed to provide, to assess account/transaction security, verify identity, identify violations, detect and prevent security incidents, and take necessary recording, analysis, and handling measures under law.
1.9 Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies and device identifiers are commonly used online. When you use Linglong AI we may send one or more Cookies or anonymous identifiers to your device to collect and identify visit/use information. We commit not to use Cookies for purposes other than those in this Privacy Policy. We mainly use them to:
(1) Keep products/services secure and efficient: authentication/security Cookies or identifiers help confirm safe login or detect theft, fraud, or other unlawful acts, and improve efficiency, login, and response speed.
(2) Make access easier: reduce repeated form filling or search input (e.g., remember searches and form entries).
(3) Recommend, display, or push content or accounts you may like: understand preferences and habits for analytics, improve services, recommend interesting information/features, and optimize content choices.
(4) On Linglong AI share pages, Cookies may record browsing to recommend information, diagnose crashes/latency, and explore better services.
(5) Clearing Cookies: on the web version, most browsers let you clear cache/Cookies in settings; after clearing, Cookie-dependent features may become unavailable.
1.10 Changes to services
As our business develops we may adjust Linglong AI products or services. If the purpose, method, or scope of personal information processing changes, we will notify you again and obtain consent as required by law.
1.11 Processing without consent where law allows
Please understand that in the following cases, under law we may process personal information without your authorization/consent:
(1) Necessary to conclude or perform a contract at your request;
(2) Necessary to perform statutory duties or obligations, e.g., those directly related to national security, defense, criminal investigation, prosecution, trial, or judgment enforcement;
(3) Necessary to respond to public health emergencies, or to protect life, health, or property in emergencies;
(4) Processing personal information within a reasonable scope for public-interest news reporting, public opinion supervision, and similar;
(5) Processing within a reasonable scope personal information you made public yourself, or other lawfully disclosed personal information (e.g., lawful news reports or government disclosures);
(6) Other circumstances provided by laws and regulations.
Special note: Under law, information that cannot identify a specific individual alone or combined with other information is not personal information. When your information can identify you alone or combined with other information, or when we combine data not linked to a specific person with your personal information, we treat it as your personal information and protect it under this Privacy Policy.

The following applies to the latest Linglong AI mobile client. Paths may differ by version or OS; please refer to the actual product.
3.1 Settings management
3.1.1 System permission settings
(1) You may enable or disable microphone, camera, album, and related permissions in device settings or in Linglong AI (Me → Settings → Personal Information Management → App Permission Settings) to change consent scope or withdraw authorization. To keep receiving a specific account’s content, follow that account and view its profile.
(2) When nothing interests you, you may search keywords and read results. After tapping the search box you can view and delete local search history.
3.2 Query, correct, supplement, delete, copy, or transfer your personal information
To query, correct, supplement, delete, copy, or download personal information we store, contact us via Me → Settings → Help Center → Feedback in the client, or email ai@linglongbiz.com.

Before deleting Linglong AI account info or canceling an account, we will verify identity, security status, device info, and similar. You understand deletion or cancellation is irreversible; afterward we will delete related information about you. If deletion is technically difficult, we will anonymize or stop processing other than storage and necessary security measures, except where law provides otherwise.
Additionally, if you or other entitled parties have claims, requests, or questions about personal information rights under law, use Me → Settings → Help Center → Feedback, or email ai@linglongbiz.com. We will review promptly and reply within fifteen business days after verifying your identity.
3.4 Protection of deceased users’ personal information
We continue to protect user information security. If a Linglong AI user passes away, close relatives ("deceased’s close relatives") may contact us for legitimate interests via Me → Settings → Help Center → Feedback, or ai@linglongbiz.com.
An uncancelled account of the deceased becomes a memorial account. To fully protect the deceased’s personal information rights, close relatives exercising rights must follow Linglong AI processes and submit the deceased’s identity proof, death certificate, the relative’s identity proof, kinship proof, and similar documents; after identity verification they may freeze, delete, or otherwise exercise rights over related personal information, unless the deceased arranged otherwise in life.
4 How we protect the security of personal information
We take personal information security seriously and use reasonable security measures to protect it, ensure processing complies with laws, regulations, or other applicable rules, and prevent unauthorized access, leakage, alteration, or loss.
4.1 Technical security measures
We use encryption, de-identification, anonymization, and other reasonable means at least at industry norms, and security mechanisms to protect personal information from malicious attacks.
4.2 Management systems
We establish dedicated security teams, management systems, and data security processes. We enforce strict data use and access controls so only authorized personnel may access your personal information. We regularly train staff and conduct security audits of data and technology as appropriate.
We prepare and implement personal information security incident response plans and activate them immediately when incidents occur, to control impact and limit harm. If a personal information security incident (leakage, alteration, or loss) occurs or may occur, we will promptly inform you as required by law of: the categories of information involved, causes, possible harm, remedies we have taken, measures you can take to mitigate harm, and how to contact us.
We will notify you via push, email, letter, SMS, or similar; when individual notice is difficult, we will publish announcements in reasonable, effective ways.
We will also report incident handling to regulators as required.
4.3 Security certification
Linglong AI has passed Classified Protection of Cybersecurity (Level 3) assessment and filing.
4.4 Security reminders
Despite reasonable measures and compliance with legal standards, please understand that due to technical limits and malicious means, absolute security cannot be guaranteed online; we will do our best to protect personal information you provide.
You understand that systems and networks you use to access our services may have problems beyond our control. Therefore, we strongly recommend active measures to protect personal information, including not disclosing your account or related personal information to others.
Once you leave Linglong AI to browse or use third-party products or services, we have no ability or direct duty to protect personal information you submit to third parties, whether or not you reached them via Linglong AI links or guidance. We will remind you when entering third-party products or services so you can better protect your information.
5 How we store personal information
5.1 Storage location
Under law, personal information collected and generated while operating in the People’s Republic of China is stored within China. We will not transfer such information overseas; if we do, we will comply with applicable national laws.
5.2 Retention period
5.2.1 We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to provide Linglong AI products or services, for example:
(1) Phone number: after you bind an account with a phone number, we need to keep it to provide normal services, handle inquiries and complaints, and protect account and system security.
(2) Content you publish and related information: retained until you withdraw, delete, or cancel the account, to provide ongoing features.
5.2.2 After you cancel an account, actively delete personal information, or information exceeds the necessary retention period, we will delete or anonymize it, except:
(1) Retention required by law (e.g., the E-Commerce Law requires product/service and transaction information to be kept at least three years from completion of the transaction).
(2) Reasonable extension for finance, audit, dispute resolution, or similar purposes.
6 Terms for minors
Linglong AI is primarily for adults, but we take minors’ personal information protection seriously.
(1) If you are under 18, before registering, logging in, or using Linglong AI and related services, read and agree to this Privacy Policy together with a parent or other guardian under their guidance.
(2) If you are a minor’s guardian, accompany and guide your ward to read and agree to this Privacy Policy before they register, log in, or use Linglong AI and related services.
(3) We protect minors’ personal information under national law and collect, use, share, or disclose it only where law allows, parents/guardians clearly consent, or it is necessary to protect minors. If we find we collected minors’ personal information without verifiable prior parental/guardian consent, we will seek to delete it promptly.
(4) If you are a guardian and have questions about your ward’s personal information, contact us via the channels in this Privacy Policy.

7.2 Updates and notices
(1) To provide better service, Linglong AI products and services will update from time to time, and we may revise this Privacy Policy. Without your clear consent, we will not reduce rights you enjoy under the then-effective Privacy Policy.
(2) After updates we will publish a new version on Linglong AI and remind you via in-app messages or other appropriate means so you can learn the latest version promptly.
(3) We may also help you better manage personal information via feature updates; please note related feature descriptions.
